All Fiberlite Cellulose Insulation products are treated with a fire retardant that will last the life of the structure. This superior fire protection is not found in other types of insulation, such as fiberglass and foam.
Fiberlite's Cellulose Insulation has been tested as a Class I Building Material and is designed to slow the spread of flames in building fires. FTI also has an exclusive 2-Hour Fire Wall design for cellulose insulation. The "SATAC" system is approved for use as a flame resistant insulation for exposed building interiors.
